If you have updated the theme to the latest version and your theme slider has disappeared this article will help you get it back.

(This article is not relevant if you’re using 3rd party plugin for a slider, ie. Slider Revolution or Layer Slider).

Our themes rely on a free plugin called Advanced Custom Fields for the slider functionality. Back in the days, we’ve shipped the plugin functionality in the theme but at some point switched that the theme requires a specific plugin in order to work.

It’s important that you have Advanced Custom Fields plugin installed, activated and up to date for the slider (and some other functionality of the theme) to work. You can do that from the Appearance -> Install Plugins in the WP admin menu.

Once the Advanced Custom Fields is installed, activated and up to date, your lost slider should be back.
