The WoonderShop theme has no font settings of its own. This article used to recommend the Easy Google Fonts plugin, but WordPress.org closed that plugin on September 9, 2026, pending a review, so you can’t install it right now. Use the free Fonts Plugin instead. It lets you use Google Fonts and upload your own font files.
The WoonderShop Customizer still shows a note that suggests Easy Google Fonts. You can ignore it.
Change the fonts
- Go to Plugins › Add Plugin, search for Fonts Plugin, then install and activate it.
- Go to Appearance › Customize › Fonts Plugin › Basic Settings.
- Choose a font for Base Typography (body text) and for Headings Typography (headings <h1> to <h6>).
- Click Publish.
If a font doesn’t change on your site, go to Fonts Plugin › Settings in your dashboard and turn on Force Styles.
To use a font file you bought or downloaded, add it in Fonts Plugin › Upload Fonts. It then shows up in the font lists in the Customizer.
Stop loading the theme’s default fonts
If you replace all of WoonderShop’s fonts, you can stop loading the theme’s own Google Fonts so your pages load faster. Go to Appearance › Customize › Other, uncheck Load theme’s Google Fonts? and click Publish. Then check your site’s typography.
