As this interesting year draws to a close, we thought there would be no better time to take a look back at the most read blog posts of the past twelve months. As well as some big announcements about our future, this year our blog has featured a lot of the work that our clients have done, and covered plenty of technical ground too. We checked out our analytics and here are the top 5:
During the build of our new website we needed to assemble some client testimonials to display on our homepage. Generally we have a lot of happy customers, so it wasn’t such a difficult task to find people to ask for a few kind words. We sent out some email requests and waited. Within 24 hours we received this very heartwarming email from Cody Ripley at Performance Surfaces:
With 47,000 plugins now available on wordpress.org it can be difficult for a WordPress beginner to know exactly where to start. Well, this list is a good place. You might not find everything you need on here, but creating a one-size-fits-all plugin list is virtually impossible. Installing too many plugins can bloat your site and impact its performance, not to mention how confusing it can get for you. The plugins on this list though are ones that should certainly be some of the first on your WordPress installation.
The first part of our PSD giveaway was a big success. We were glad to see so many of you taking advantage of our free materials. So – as promised – here is round two. Just like before, we would appreciate if you only use them for personal purposes.
